Privacy policy

Short version: we collect what's needed to send you socks and answer your messages. Nothing else, and we don't sell any of it.

Who we are

texsocks.com is operated by TeXoX LLC, which is the data controller for everything described on this page. To reach us about any of it, use the contact page.

What we collect, and why

When you buy something

Checkout is handled by Stripe, not by this website. When you press buy you're taken to a Stripe-hosted page. Stripe collects your name, email, delivery address and payment details in order to take the payment and let us ship your order.

We never see or store your card number. It doesn't pass through this site at any point. We see your name, email, delivery address and what you bought — the things needed to put a package in the mail and to deal with a refund if you want one.

Stripe processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

When you contact us

We keep your name, email and whatever you wrote, so we can reply and refer back to it if you get in touch again. We don't add you to a mailing list off the back of a support message.

When you just look around

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Two things still happen automatically that you should know about:

How long we keep it

Who else sees your data

Only the companies needed to complete your order:

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. Ever, to anyone.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you're in the UK, EU, or a US state with its own privacy law, those rights are backed by legislation — but we'd honor the request regardless. Email us and we'll action it within 30 days.

The one thing we can't delete is a record we're legally required to keep for tax purposes.

Children

This shop isn't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date below. Last updated August 2026.

A note on this page. It describes accurately how this site works today. It is not legal advice, and it still needs a postal address for TeXoX LLC — some jurisdictions require one. Add it before you start trading, and have someone qualified look this over if you're selling into the EU or UK at any volume.
