These are not cowboy boot socks
TexSocks are not liners. They are knitted socks that look like cowboy boots.
Search “cowboy boot socks” and you will get liners: merino, cushioned, built to go inside a western boot. That is a real product. It is not this one.
TexSocks are socks that look like cowboy boots. Mid-calf crews. You wear them with trainers, loafers, or under trousers. You do not wear them inside a boot.
Why the phrase is wrong for us
“Cowboy boot socks” sounds like equipment. Ours is a knitted trompe-l’oeil — shaft stitch, pull tab, heel and toe — worked into the yarn, not printed on top. The double-take is the product. A liner has no double-take. It is supposed to disappear.
If you need something for inside a pair of Luccheses, buy merino from a boot brand. If you want the office, the gift, the sit-down, you want the lookalike.
