Knitted to look like a real western boot

The shaft carries the curled two-tone pattern you'd find tooled into leather, outlined in gray so it catches the light the way real stitching does. A pull tab sits at the top of the shaft. Fine stitch lines run down the vamp toward the toe. The heel and toe are worked in black, which reads as the sole of the boot and hides everyday wear.

None of it is printed. Each color is a separate yarn knitted into the sock, so the pattern can't crack or peel in the wash — and you'll see it mirrored on the inside.

Who buys this one

The mustard is the boldest of the range. It suits people who want the socks to be seen: country concerts, line dancing, a rodeo weekend, or a Friday at a desk job. It also lands well as a birthday or stocking gift for someone whose taste you don't know well — the joke does the work.

How it wears

Mid-calf, so the boot shape still shows above a trainer, a loafer or a rolled trouser cuff. The ribbed cream cuff holds without digging in. It's a cotton-blend knit with a cushioned sole, which is the difference between a sock you wear and a sock that lives in the drawer after one photo.
